We also act for and advise the representatives of company executives and other members of staff working for firms in all fields of business.
We assist and advise our clients on all matters pertaining to personnel, in particular with regard to:
- The advertisement of open positions and the initiation of employment relationships
- The structuring of employment contracts and supplementary agreements
- Issues concerning the enforcement of rights and compliance with obligations
- Normal and exceptional termination of positions with and without notice
- Settlement and termination agreements
- Individual payment and target schemes
- Negotiation and formulation of works agreements
- Issues relating to the design and implementation of company, branch and industry-wide agreements
- Restructuring processes (ownership transfers, complete and partial closures)
- Negotiation of interest reconciliation and social compensation plans
- Establishment and running of works arbitration committees.
We accompany clients defending their interests in extrajudicial and conflict-resolution contexts, and we represent our clients in disputes before the courts.
Attorney Eckart Schulz acts as an assessor in works arbitration committees in accordance with § 76 BetrVG (German Works Constitution Act) since many years.
We also offer seminars and in-house training for managers and works councils in all the specialized fields as referred to above.
